When beginning our family I had Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS) a hormal imbalance that affects about 6-15% of women. Medication most doctors suggest. I really think more should also be discussed about nutritional balance as it is a weight thing, but it also is a sugar and blood sugar thing.

When you are not trying to conceive or need to regulate your cycles , birth control was prescribed. I never found a birth control that I could stay on to regulate my cycles, I simply could not tolerate the side affects, mood swings, anxiety, and much wores, I simply could not tolerate. I have heard the quality of birth control is much approved in the past decades to actually support a woman’s hormone balance and well being.

  • Focus on serving high-fiber, low-carbohydrate vegetables with each meal
  • Eat enough calories to achieve your ideal weight
